Camas Creek is another of the large tributaries that provide water to the Middle Fork.

In September of 2006 two of our group decided to hike approximately 15 miles down Camas Creek and meet us at the camp site where the creek reaches the Middle Fork. They chose Camas Creek because it was one of the few creeks not affected by wildfires.

Both men were impressed with the fishing and with the amount of water in the upper reaches of the creek, leading them to believe that some of that creek water must go underground before it reaches the Middle Fork.
